Come To Our Debrief X Nike Event And Tell Us Why Trainers Make You Happy
The Debrief: We’re Saying No To High Heels – Tell Us Why Your Trainers Bring You #Instanthappiness
One of the more amazing fashion trends to emerge in the last few years? The fact that trainers are now acceptable footwear pretty much everywhere – from the office to that posh bar you possibly can’t afford but you’re going to anyway.
Whether we’re running to a meeting or going dancing, wearing heels can be a pain in the ass (foot). And crippling yourself because that’s the only way to look professional or dressed up seems a bit passé (why else do you think Nicola Thorp’s campaign to make it illegal for a company to require women to wear high heels to work has gained to much traction?).
This is why we’re teaming up with Nike to celebrate the launch of the Nike Presto Ultra Flyknit collection – bringing instant happiness to your feet since 2000.
We’re celebrating the humble trainer and all the ways they make our lives amazing with an exclusive event at The SNKRS Cube at NIKETOWN, Oxford Circus on Wednesday 1 June from 7pm.
Beats 1 DJ Georgia LA will be in conversation with stylist Ayishat Akanbi, discussing how trainers have rocked our world over the last 30 years. You’ll also get the chance to share your #instanthappiness trainer selfie and everyone will get a Nike goody bag.
For your chance to come along, post your #niketrainerselfie on Instagram and tell us why it brings you #instanthappiness - don’t forget to tag @thedebriefuk #niketrainerselfie and #instanthappiness into your post!
Alternatively, fill in the form below - we'll be selecting winners on a first come, first served basis.
If you’ve got a spot at the event, we’ll notify you on Instagram or via email depending on your method of entry before 6pm on Tuesday. You must be over 18 and able to travel to London in order to attend the event.
