Cheap Things To Do This Weekend February 6 + 7
The Debrief: Looking for something to do this weekend? Here's your guide.
Dance like Justin Bieber's watching
Sure people might be crushing over Zayn Malik's Pillow Talk ATM but deep down I think we all know, Justin Bieber's Sorry is the greatest video of modern times. Want to learn the dance from the video? Head to Seen On Screen, the dance workout connoisseurs who have just introduced their newest (and probably greatest) class of all time - their take on the Sorry video. It's on in Manchester and London so no excuses for missing out. Unless you don't live in either of those cities, in which case, put the video on in your bedroom and have a crack at learning it for yourself.
Find out how weird the human mind really is
Excellent curators of weird and wonderful exhibitions the Wellcome Collection are back with a new year long exhibition from February 4th called 'States of Mind: Tracing The Edge of Consciousness'. Featuring ever changing intsallations throughout the year, it's going to explore things like synaesthesia, somnambulism (sleepwalking) and memory disorders. The first installation explores the similarities with the language of a stroke patient and a young child. Super interesting stuff.

Celebrate Chinese New Year
Because 2016 is the year of the Monkey and if that's not an excellent reason to celebrate then we don't know what is. Loads of cities have got stuff going on; in Manchester at the Trafford Centre there's set to be the UK Art Lantern Festival which, as well as lanterns (obvs) is set to feature Kung Fu and acrobatic shows, Chinese food and lantern workshops. In Bristol there's a CNY market on the Saturday with food, face painting and traditional dancing and, in Croydon, there's the borough's first ever Chinese New Year Parade on the Sunday including performances, music, writing and illustration competitions. Practice your pancake skills
February 9th is the big day but, chances are you'll get home from work or uni and not be able to muster up the energy to get flipping. Move your celebrations forward to Sunday when you've got ample time to experiment, bugger your pancakes up and start all over again.
