7 Cheap, Easy And Healthy Things To Do With Blueberries

The Debrief: They're healthy, supposedly superfoods, and you can buy them dead cheap from frozen. Here's what to do with your blueberry stash.

 1. Blueberry, lavender and coconut ice cream

Time: 15 mins, 6 hours freezing.

Make your own ice cream that's actually (kind of healthy). And no, you don't need one of theose fancy ice cream make things either. This recipe from Ambitious Kitchen is literally just coconut milk, almond milk and a bunch of other stuff mixed together. You can definitely do it.

2. Purple Rain Martini

Time: 2 minutes.

Celebrate Prince in the best way you know how; by drinking all of the booze. Involves using blueberry vodka which we previously didn't know was a thing but were very happy to become acquainted with. Full recipe here from 3 Yummy Tummies.

3. No Bake Blueberry Cheesecake

Time: 20 minutes.

A good one to make if, like me, your oven fills your kitchen with smoke everytime you turn it on and open the door. Apparently you're meant to 'clean' it. Whatever. Anyways, this cake from Win Win Food is dead easy and super cheap so fill your boots.

4. Banana, Beetroot, Blueberry Flapjacks

Time: 30 minutes.

These are vegan, and gluten free. Handy if you're coeliac or if you're still holding fast to the fact that you might maybe be gluten intolerent. There's a lot of bits to this recipes so it's not the cheapest. Unless you make loads and loads and have them for breakfast every single day for a month. Then it's cheap. 5. 1 Minute Blueberry Muffin

Time: 1 minute

6. Avocado, Mango, Blueberry Super Smoothie Bowl

Time: 5 minutes.

People bloody love a smoothie bowl don't they? Personally I don't know what was wrong with drinking smoothies out of a cup but there you go. This recipe is dead delicious though. And it only takes 5 minutes. Get the full recipe here from Will Frolic For Food.

Time: 20 minutes
