We Try On The Best Bits Of Warehouse So You Don't Have To

The Debrief: Remember when you used to shop there all the time when you were 15? It's time to go back.

I’ve got to admit, I haven’t been to Warehouse for quite a while. What with COS, & Other Stories, Monki and all the other store openings of the last few years, some of those old favourites from our teenage years have slightly slipped off the radar.

But, as I always say at the start of Changing Room Selfies, every store is but an Aladdin’s cave, and it’s my job to sift through the stock, looking for treasures. And you’ll be pleased to know that there was plenty to find at Warehouse. The sizes come up a little smaller than, say, Topshop – and there’s no doubt much of the stock is very ‘hot holiday’ based (read: bright patterns and maxis galore), but there’s plenty of stuff to hold your attention. Such as...

Denim Dungarees

Dungarees are having a moment and a half. I like that these are tight fit, like the skinny jeans version of dungarees in a chic indigo denim. Save from leather, they‘re the ‘smartest’ way to buy into the dungaree trend. Don your acid wash for day and these for night.

Clean Dungarees, £60

The Floral Maxi Dress

I’m not really one for a floral maxi dress, I must admit, but I can imagine how useful this one would be. It’s incredibly comfortable and I do like the side split. Looks better roughed up with some trainers.

Fluro Pansy Maxi Dress, £48

Pleated Layers

Love the sheer overlay, with a shorter skirt underneath. Gives the pleats an unexpected twist. A tank top gives the whole thing a golfish vibe. And where would you be, in life, without the occasional golf vibe?

Metallic Mish Plisse Dress, £52

Shortie Canadian Tuxedo

Putting two pieces of denim together is as normal as making a white bread sandwich. Can’t argue that these two pieces necessarily go together beautifully. But alone? Cool beans.

Zip Front Shorts, £35 and Crop Jacket, £48

The silky two piece

The pyjama set is gathering pace. I like the mixed blues and the fact that this is a matching camisole and trousers, rather than a pyjama jacket. Makes it more eveningwear appropriate.
