We Tried On All The White Clothes In Warehouse So Now You Don't Have To
The Debrief: It's a summer Changing Room Selfies takeover...
Wearing white is bloody hard. There's the whole spilling/stains thing, but there's also the fact that it's easy to look like you work at Wimbledon and got lost, or you're a dental nurse... you know, that weird white uniform thing. So we asked blogger babe Julia Lundin, whose instagram is full of awesome summer outfit inspo, to head to Warehouse and style up the best white stuff so you can see how it's done.
Here are her tips for wearing white.
White Jeans Are Cool Again
'Wear some white jeans with a cream knitted top and white trainers for a casual sporty look - it will work well both during weekends and in the office,' says Julia. 'If you decide to wear them with a white top, I suggest you add a different color into the mix with your bag or jacket.'
Work The Off The Shoulder Look
'Off shoulder tops are so chic and feminine,' Julia says. 'I have paired this one with off-white culottes, to give the outfit a dreamy look'.
Throw In Some Fringing
'Boho style is still going strong so I mixed this lace dress with this season’s must-have fringed booties and tassel bag,' explains Julia. 'Wear it with a denim jacket to accentuate those bohemian vibes even more.'
What can be more statement than culottes this season? A culottes jumpsuit, natch. 'Wear it with grey jacket and mules to let the world know just how fashion-savvy you are,' says Julia.
Pick A Pair Of Gladiators
'If your style is quite feminine, but you don't want to pair a dress with heels, then this season I recommend you try wearing a cute dress with gladiator sandals,' says Julia. 'You’ll still look girly but everyone will know that you can be a bit bad-ass too.'
Unsure about whether all white outfit is office appropriate? It is when it’s a suit. 'There is hardly any other look that can make you feel as powerful and professional as a well-fitted two-piece,' Julia says.
