Make Up Artist Transforms Herself Into A Range Of Disney Princesses On Instagram

The Debrief: The realisation of a childhood fantasy?

The make up artist Saraswati has dazzled thousands of users on Instagram with her selection of Disney Princess make up looks. Under the username Queen of Luna, Saraswati has shared over 300 posts with her 27,000 followers, and among them are some startling accurate imitations of the Disney princesses. Her posts feature The Little Mermaid, Belle, Cruella de Vil and, our favourite, Mulan. I mean - look at it. It's just an uncanny likeness.

Saraswati goes all out with the look, relying primarily on make-up, but also, innovatively, using cloth to recreate hair color and styles. Her Alice look features a yellow hijab and is one of her most popular posts. Meanwhile she's got her Arial holding a fork, a canny reference to the mermaid's trove which features mysterious land objects - 'I've got gadgets and gizmos a plenty. / I've got whozits and whatzits galore.'

We reckon she also uses special contact lenses to make her irises bigger. Because no one's eyes are as big as that except for, well, Belle.

She doesn't stop at princesses though. Saraswati's creations include Jafar and this incredible batman mock up.

Is this lipsticked batman queering the norm? Very possibly. All we know is that Saraswati's putting our half spidery, half clumpy mascara efforts to shame.
