Mark Zuckerberg Sort-Of Responds To Kanye’s Plea For Money
The Debrief: A coy and minimalist acknowledgement from Mark Z...
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared to 'like' a post on Facebook that was shared on Monday regarding Kanye West's request for a cool billion dollars. The post, written by former facebook software engineer Steven Grim, has since been deleted, but read:
'Dear Kanye West: If you're going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don't do it on Twitter.'
Over the weekend the rapper claimed he was $53 million in debt. In a natural next step, he tweeted the Facebook founder: 'Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas ...after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.

'Mark Zuckerberg I know it's your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw... You love hip hop, you love my art... I am your favorite artist but you watch me barely breathe and still play my album in your house ... World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me...(sic)'
We know. Zuckerberg failed to respond on twitter, possibly because his birthday is actually May 14th. We reckon this discrete like is Zuckerberg saying ‘I’m-not-getting-involved-but-nothing-escapes-me.’ Very calm parent of him.
On another note, the addition of forward slashes to Kanye’s tweets makes them look like quite an emosh rap about betrayal:
I am your favorite artist/ But you watch me barely breathe / And still play my album in your house / World, please tweet
Are all of Kanye's outbursts just rough drafts of rap lyrics? If true, this would definitely demystify, if not decode, 98% of what he says...
