Maisie Williams Rewrites Sexist Headline And Wins Twitter

Maisie Williams Rewrites Sexist Headline And Wins Twitter

The Debrief: Maisie Williams is being amazing on Twitter again

When she’s not busy destroying her enemies as Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, Maisie Williams slays on Twitter too. The outspoken and just all-round fab actress is never one to shy away from voicing her opinion, especially when it comes to women and sexism. Recently challenging the use of the word 'cute' to describe her and other women, Maisie's at it again, this time tackling a headline that focuses too much on what she's wearing and less on what she's doing.

She was responding to the Mail Online’s headline: 'Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams goes braless in sheer lace dress and quirky headpiece at charity masquerade ball.' The article was posted after the actor attended the Summer Masquerade ball in Bath, Somerset in aid of the children’s charity, NSPCC.

Maisie chirped back with an alternative headline on her twitter account, removing the unnecessary reference about her outfit choice and highlighting the importance of the event raising money for charity. The GOT star tweeted: 'Game of Thrones actor, Maisie Williams, helps raise thousands at a Summer Masquerade ball for @NSPCC.'

All Hail Maisie, Queen of Twitter!
