In Which We Attempt To Unpick The Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna Family Tree
The Debrief: Tbf, we're still not sure.
If you’re don’t know who any of the people in the headline are, you’ve come to the right place. Because I don’t either, which means we get to learn together. Wait, that’s a lie. I know who Rob Kardashian is: brother to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, half -brother to Kylie and Kendal and, as Daily Mail like to describe him as at every possible oppportunity for which I don't blame them, 'sock entrepeneur'.
Blac Chyna, though? Zero clue. But they’ve just got engaged and apparently it's a big deal, it's big news, so now I'm going to talk about it.
Blac Chyna (real name Angela Renée White) is, according to Wikipedia, ‘an American model and entrepreneur’ and a ‘video vixen’ which means she’s appeared in a lot of music videos. According to TMZ, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have been dating for just over two months and he proposed on Monday night with a $325K diamond ring, no less.
This is all well and good: celebrity couple get engaged. Whatever. But there’s actually another slightly more confusing side to it, as Elite Daily have pointed out: Blac Chyna has a son with Tyga, who is dating Kylie Jenner, who is the sister of Rob.
This means that once Rob and Blac Chyna get married, Kylie will be the sister-in-law of her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend.
That's not everything though. This is the big one: Tyga and Blac Chyna have a son together (King Cairo; I am not kidding) which means, if Kylie and Tyga got married as well, Kylie will be King Cairo’s step-mum as well as his aunty.
This would also make Blac Chyna and Tyga siblings–in–law, as well as ex-lovers.
Now, if both couples were to start reproducing, that's when things get really really confusing. So confusing that I can’t actually explain it. Not very well, anyway, but I'll try.
So now we have Blac Chyna and Rob’s (hypothetical) baby and Tyga and Kylie’s (hypothetical) baby who would be cousins. To King Cairo they’d both be half-siblings as well as some kind of cousin derivative. I think. I give up.
