Imagine Getting Married The Same Day As Your TWO Identical Sisters

Brazilians Rafaela, Rochele and Tagiane Bini had different coloured bouquets so their husbands-to-be, family and friends could tell them apart…

Triplet wedding, sisters, wedding, bride

Weddings are stressful. And we know that from the most cursory of wranglings with them - we know that wedding season only really hits at 30, when love seems to take on an odd musical chairs-y vibe. So imagine, then, the faff that must’ve been had when three identical Brazilian triplets got married on the exact same day.

The 29-year-olds, Rafaela, Rochele and Tagiane Bini didn’t stop there at the matchy-matchy. They wore the same hairstyles and the matching dresses for the occasion, which happened just last Saturday.

Rochele said the hair was just a coincidence: ‘We tried a number of styles, but we all liked the same one. It's not even worth trying, it always ends up like that.’ But everything else was pretty-well planned.

Their father, a farmer called Pedro, who doubtlessly saved money with the triple-whammy wedding, explained to MailOnline how he walked the three women down the aisle: ‘We decided that we would all walk down the aisle until half way down the church. From there, I would take one at a time.’

Two of the grooms, Rafael (he married Rafaela, so she can match with him too!) and Gabriel admitted that they couldn’t exactly tell their brides apart, but the colour of the bouquet – the only thing that was different about the brides – helped them identify their one true love.

Rafael said he’s previously been a bit touchy feely with the wrong sibling: ‘There was a time when we were all in the kitchen making dinner. So Rochele, who is Gabriel's, was doing stuff at the sink, and Rafaela was at the stove.

'We were there chatting and they changed places. I went behind to hug her, and said "oops" when I realised I'd got the wrong girl.'

Meanwhile Eduardo cast a cat among the pigeons when he said that of course he knew his wife-to-be, because she’s the fittest: ‘Oh yes, I knew which one was mine, for sure. I knew as soon as she entered the church, she was the most beautiful.’

It can’t have been that offensive to the other women on their wedding days, because, well, they all look the exact same!
