It’s been a big week for Cara D, after winning the model of the year award at Tuesday’s BFAs, she flew to Salzberg to walk in Chanel’s Metier d’art show (have you seen the accompanying vid yet?) and now she has been announced as a super villain in DC Comics’ new film, Suicide Squad. All in a week’s work for Miss Delevingne, it seems.

The film sees Cara cast alongside some Hollywood heavyweights – Tom Hardy, Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie no less – and will be released in August 2016. The plot centres around the group of villains who are given the chance to become good guys, with Jared Leto playing the joker, and Will Smith taking on the roll of Rick Flag.

What do we know about Cara’s role so far? A seemingly normal artist, June Moone, is given the task of fighting evil forces in a castle, and upon saying the words ‘The Enchantress’, she transforms into a gothic looking enchantress. Expect Cara’s blonde locks to turn black when she morphs into her alter-ego, and plenty of ass-kicking action, such as her fighting a minotaur. As you do.

If you can’t wait that long to see more of Cara’s acting skillz, then you should look forward to Pan (where she is cast as a mermaid), out next year.
