Following hot on the doubtfully-uncomfortable heels of Kim Kardashian’s app game, Lindsay Lohan has launched her very own one called Price Of Fame. We haven’t quite had the time to delete all of Serial from our phone to make space for it yet, so the review will have to wait, but from what gaming sites are saying, it’s a pretty tongue-in-cheek takedown of Kim’s game and a scathing look at the Hollywood fame game.

Whereas in Kim’s game you have to be very smart to not get bad press, sucking up to the right people (Kim) and generally obediently going about each photoshoot and wardrobe fitting, in Lindsay’s game you can basically use any tactic celebrities actually use to get famous, reports Polygon.

You can ‘start a phony rap beef, buy a private peninsula, get butt implants, fight in an elevator and give your baby Botox’. You can also join a celebrity cult.

The game’s blurb reads, ‘It’s all part of getting famous in Hollywood. And why not punch a paparazzi while you are at it? Don’t worry, you have a hot shot team of lawyers to get you out of trouble. And they probably deserved it.’

You can pay for: a ghostwritten rap album, a sex tape, a rehab recovery or a faked death to get more famous. Sleeping with a poet laureate is also on offer, and items you can buy (the game is free, but you can spend actual money on its extra perks) to complement your fame include coconut water, a jet pack and paparazzi repellant. And for the lols, you can buy an elephant alongside an ivory pen from a ‘conspicuous consumption’ section of the in-game shop.

Friends you can accessorise your life with include a weed holder and ‘not nice girls’ and mottos said within the game include, ‘Gender is a social construct and so is your celebrity persona.’

Some reviews have been putting this scathing look at Hollywood celebrity down to the developers and not Lindsay herself, but she has spoken out against Hollywood and the world of celebrity, or at least some aspects of it. She told The Observer yesterday, ‘I won’t live in LA again, hell no. My friends tell me shit when they come over I don’t want to hear. You turn on the news in LA and it is all gossip about people. All the stuff that is going on in the world right now and this gossip is the news?’

In fact, she dislikes Hollywood so much, she’s moving to London. ‘I can go for a run here [London] on my own... I do every morning, early, and I think how my friends in New York would still be up partying at that time,’ she continued. ‘I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else.’

She went on to say that, basically, Los Angeles made her life go wrong. ‘In LA I didn’t know what to do, apart from go out every night. That’s when my friends were free. And I would go out and there would be all these cameras there and that’s when it became difficult.’

After everything that’s happened, Lindsay’s never actually hit a paparazzo, so maybe she’s venting her frustration via her new game?
