We all know and love the friendly characters on Gogglebox, but we might never be able to be endeared by them again now that there’s a porn parody of them on the cards. It features Beth and Don, the posh pair, who react very physically to the porn they’re watching, Brixton lesbian friends Sondra and Kassandra, and of course the mature remit is fulfilled by pensioners Deon and Joan.
The trailer is below and it’s actually safe for work, provided you work in a place where you can watch trailers and the like. Oh, and a place where it’s OK to have ‘GOBBLECOCKS’ come up on the screen. Basically, it’s got no nudity.
What’s mostly exciting is that although we might carry assumptions about what the porno will look like, it might be restricted by the new UK porn laws which stipulate all sorts of activities are banned in British paid-for porn content. However, the trailer was made in November, so the porn might have been made before the ban came in on the 1 December.
Or, maybe, if all the juiciest stuff is what the Gobblecocks characters are watching, and we’re (and by that we mean, whoever the people watching the porn are) just watching them watching it, the law can be got around? We’ll leave that to speculation, we’re probably not going to speak to a lawyer about that particular question.
