Well, this is a mash-up video we weren’t expecting. It’s the Powerpuff Girls mixed with a Girls twist and it’s pretty genius TBH.
This video remagines the Powerpuff Girls if they were older. They’ve put on some weight, and they’re a lot angrier. It’s described by the chirpy voiceover as ‘very little fighting, lots of complaining, combined with small witty life-afirming lessons.’
Even though we’re not down with anyone dissing Lena Dunham’s Girls series (we’re obsessed), there are bits that made us lol a bit. For example, the scene where one of the Powerpuff girls is sat on her bed saying, ‘I’m sort of eating and blogging.’
