OK, so we know the right thing to do is to rise above and not give airtime to 'prank' viral videos made deliberately to fly around the internet. Videos like this one entitled 'How To Get A Girl To Show You Boobs' for example, which was uploaded to YouTube by a duo calling themselves 'The Viral Brothers' last night. But sometimes they're too juvenile and creepy not to.

The aim of the video is pretty self-explanatory. If you don't want to watch it (and frankly, you don't need to) the sleazy duo instruct viewers to download a ‘bee buzzing’ ringtone on to their iPhones, which they can then use to scare women who have undone their bikini tops enough that they jump up to get the bee off them, momentarily exposing their breasts.

Great trick, guys.

God knows what small joy these men can get from catching what can’t be more than a few seconds of a curvature of a terrified, innocent strangers breasts but, rather predictably that hasn't stopped the video getting 100,000 views since it was uploaded yesterday. And a whole bunch of support from equally rank guys in their comment box. One user called ‘The Awesome Simon’ said ‘gotta admit that was clever ’ and another chap called Altan Aesthetics added helpfully: ‘Title should be how to get a girl to show her tiny boobs’.

But whilst it would be tempting to write off the makers as massive douchebags (OK, already done that), it's a worthy reminder that these days we're never more than a couple of metres away from some idiot with an iPhone. And when you're on the beach that means you're never more than a couple of metres away from some idiot with an iPhone who could be taking a covert creep shot and posting it online without your permission. So is it any wonder so few of us – just 2 per cent in of under-35s in France – are sunbathing topless these days? We think not.
