We all knew that Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez were a thing – apart from being inseparable for all of 2014 so far, how else could you explain Michelle's invite to Paris Fashion Week's Chanel Show? But now it's been confirmed by Michelle that they're, um 'hanging out'.

'It’s going really well. She’s so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome and we have the best time together,' Michelle told The Mirror. 'She’s hard, though. You wouldn’t want to mess with her in a fight.'

OK, so it's just hanging out, but Michelle is bisexual, Cara is, well… (there's obviously been that Harry Styles thing and those rumours over her self-proclaimed 'wifey' Rita Ora?) and they've been spotted all each over each other. Their six-week hangout session has included watching basketball games all affectionate and bleary-eyed, paintballing, a romatic getaway to Babington House and matching hers-’n’-hers drips. And now all the loved-up talk, which was probably bound to happen knowing Michelle's give-a-fuck I'll-say-anything attitude.

Anyone who knows lesbian relationships know they can get intense pretty quickly, but Michelle insists the pair aren't quite yet joined at the hip. Speaking at the BAFTAs, the 35-year-old explained why they weren't walking the red carpet together: 'Cara's at her own fashion week party tonight, so doing her own thing.' (FYI, she meant launching her own Mulberry bag range.)

As fashion week totters on, and Michelle and Cara flit and stumble about from event to event being interviewed hundreds of times a day, we wonder if - or when - there'll be a more from either of them on their burgeoning relationship. We're hoping so. High-kicking-paparazzi antics aside, they seem quite cute together, after all.
