Because what else do you gift the power couple?

Kim Kardashian is getting married to Kanye West somewhere in France this weekend. And, for perhaps the first time, we take pity on the rest of the Kardashians. Despite the holiday and the prospect of meeting Beyoncé, well, when it comes to wedding gifts, what do you give the couple who have everything, who jet-set around the world, call the ground floor of their house a 'walk-in wardrobe' and are each worth millions of dollars?

Well, Kim's ex Ray J has a, er, novel, idea. It's $47,000 (£27,950). And it's such a specific amount because it is how much money he's earned – so far this year – from sales of the sex tape he made with Kim seven years ago.

Ray J, who you might also remember as Brandy's little brother and the guy who went out with Whitney Houston shortly before her death, earns quite a bit from the video each month. (FYI, Kim also earns an undisclosed amount from it.)

Seriously, though, here's a breakdown of how much the tape's been making each month:

January: $6,135.60 (£3,649.10)

February: $20,097.31 (£11,952.72) (quite a spike there! Anything to do with Valentine's Day?)

March: $9,674.76 (£5753.99)

April: $10,931.52 (£6,501.44)

According to TMZ, Ray J has said that if Kim doesn't want the gift (we're really not sure why she would?), he'll donate the money to her favourite charity. That all said, the thing we're most shocked about when it comes to this story is that people are actually paying for porn!

On the bright side, Kanye must not have heard this weird news, because he's gadding about with an actual grin on his face. As you can see in this video, Kanye is offered some of his – much coveted – Yeezy shoes to sign. And even though he knows they're fake, he still signs them anyway. Is the world's surliest rapper changing his spots? Or is it simply that he's very giddy ahead of his nuptials?
