Ah The Spice Girls Reunion; also known as the Sex And The City 3 of the music world. One to file under, ‘Much Discussed. But Ain’t Never Gonna Happen’.

Unless…

Perpetual high-kicker and Matt-Cardle-dater Melanie Chisholm spoke recently about the Spice Girls’ upcoming 20-year anniversary in 2016 (yep – 20 years guys, hands up who feels old?) saying: 'It's funny isn't it because people are saying it's the 20 year anniversary of The Spice Girls, and we did get together in '94, but Wannabe wasn't released until '96 so we don't really see it until '96. And you might see a few of us having a little dance about on stage. No plans, but we'll see what we can do for you.'

By ‘a few of us’ read: everyone but Victoria who, the brighter sparks amongst you might remember, ruled out going back to singing after her bit in the London 2012 Closing Ceremony. In case you missed it, her performance with the girls was a little bit ‘going through the motions-y’ and left all of us feeling a little bit unenamoured with our childhood heroines. So would you be up for seeing a Spice Girls reunion tour minus Posh? Or should Girl Power take a graceful bow and exit stage left?

If we’re honest we’d prefer Mel C to stick to the solo career. Remember this banger?
